Mac just accepting her without question made my heart so happy. Tally, Tim, and Mac were such a good family for her. It would have been easy for it just to be Tally, but the fact that Tim and Mac took her in as their own and fought for her warmed my heart. Mac calling her Mouse??? Adorable and it shows that she got a place in his heart in book 1. And then when he knew what she needed and advocated for her??? He may be my favorite character overall. Tally and Tim are her friends, but Mac really felt like family.

"I love you too, but I love myself more." HELL YEAH GIRL.

The groveling was done right in this book with the boys finding their proper sea legs and figuring out how to show that their feelings are genuine.

I kind of figured

Saylor wasn't dead

because he kept coming in and out of Sloan's life and he was a lil transparent.

Him coming back

was real wild, I was certain it was his time.
