Sarah has such a way with words I swear! Un-fucking-matched!
This is definitely a book that you would devour in one day. Or start devouring it and then take it super slow because you don’t want it to end. I literally read 200 pages in two days and definitely would’ve finished it in one sitting but I had to put it away for a while because it was too fucking good! I read the last 150+ pages in less than 2 hours. This book is that good!!!
The banter, THE MOTHERFUCKING BANTER!!!
Y’all know I love me some banter and it’s so fucking good. Felicity and Devil are so well matched.
There’s so much to love about this book and these characters. Felicity and her lock picking skills. Devil and his empire he built. The pining! The kissing, the fucking, good Lord above the sex in this book is delicious.
It’s not a slow burn, it’s more a simmering boil, you feel it more than a slow burn. I know that’s crazy coming for me because I love books that start with a literal bang and are fucking filthy, AND YET is the type of book to have you sweating and boiling just from their kisses. I love it when that happens! It doesn’t always have to be filthy to be sexy and Sarah proves that with this book.
