My feelings for this book are complicated.. on one hand I really enjoyed the main character, the story line, and the setting. However, I struggled with the authors writing style. There were fast-paced, interesting moments and then very slow, parts that made me want to put the book down.  With that being said. Overall, I enjoyed it enough to read the next one.
