Like a bittersweet hug. Cozy and sharp. Beautiful art. Absolutely gorgeous story. Really manages to pull you in and keep you for just 200 short pages and still fall in love with all of the characters.
Super similar premise to Weathering With You, but without the supernatural backdrop. I read this as a hopeful (and also to work on my own endless physical tbr) to lend out to someone who needs to read a manga for the 2024 Genre Challenge but has never read one before, and I think this is the perfect intro to the manga style!
