Hatchet by Gary Paulsen
I liked Hatchet but it had many small flaws.
It was so repetitive that at one point I felt like tearing it into shreds but thankfully, I didn't.
The wilderness part was not that great either but it did capture my attention a few times.
If eating the berries made Brian sick, how come drinking the stagnant water with the plane leaking oils and the pilot's corpse did nothing?
It definitely isn't a favourite and I most probably won't re-read it unless I have nothing else to read, but I would recommend it to those who like reading short adventure stories.
