Aloha Betrayed by Jessica Fletcher

3.0

Another light, enjoyable entry in the Murder She Wrote series. In this book, Jessica travels to Hawaii to help teach a workshop on criminology. While there she meets a young woman who is a professor at the college where she is teaching who later ends up dead. Of course Jessica ends up spending her vacation solving the murder. Was the young woman killed by a lover, a competitive colleague, or someone working against her on a project she was challenging to build a telescope on a volcano revered by the Hawaiian people? One thing I always enjoy about these books is the descriptions of food and meals - they always make me hungry. In this book, there are many references to drinking pineapple iced tea which sounds like something I will have to try.
