I was able to read Higher is Waiting for free from Netgalley, the publisher and the author for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I know of Tyler Perry from all the Madea shows but if you want to read a book that can change your life, you need to read this book and get some ideas.

Higher is divided into four sections that revolve around the metaphor of a tree.
The Tree of Life, Tyler compares the four stages of spiritual growth from his early childhood to the present.
1) Planting the seeds
2) Nourishing the roots
3) Branching out
4) Harvesting the fruit
I recommend this book for those who want/need a spiritual guide book, a book to provoke your thought and soul searching. This book will be a great gift idea and great for book clubs.
