When I first started the book, I was unaware of the racist things the author has said. When I let a group of friends know I was reading I instantly DNFed. Another thing that contributed to it was the FMC and her mom were talking Polish, and the father said "English Please." That made the DNF of this book easier. 
This author doesn't deserve my time not nor my ear.
