The Chrysalids by John Wyndham

4.0

(listened as audiobook)
This was my second time reading this book, having first read it as an adolescent. It was definitely worth a reread, but didn't knock my socks off. The narrator has a very soothing voice that borders on monotone, though that doesn't detract from the experience and might even be a good thing.

It was interesting that novel takes place in Labrador. It makes sense that it would survive what was probably a nuclear war.
