The sixth book in the red rising series really hits its stride. It all comes together and sets the the stage for the seventh (and final?) book in the series.

I didn’t love book four and book five felt imbalanced, but book six fulfills on the foundation those books made. It was a little hard to remember everything from four years ago, but Brown does a good job catching the reader up.

Committing to a 686 pg book is no easy feat and it takes at least 100 pages to pick up, but it delivers on what fans are looking for.
