It's a 3.5 stars for me. The beginning of the story had me hooked because it started with the two main characters being kidnapped. Who wouldn't want to keep reading? It had a great start. My expecations going in were as the title said: erotic thriller. I'm not sure if perhaps it was me going in with the wrong ideas, it certainly has a bit of both, but the thriller side got a bit under-developed in favor of the erotica. As someone who enjoys smut I wouldn't complaint about this much, especially since those scenes were hot and well done, the writting is great, but I felt like things escalated a bit fast for my tastes.

Again, this might be due to my preferences, but I actually became very invested in the plot and wanted the background story to continue lol. The whole building up about the trafficking, the drug that makes omegas have too intense heats and the underground crimes give a lot of space for more. Those elements were very great. As I mentioned, perhaps it was my bad and I should've had different expectations. I think this was still wrapped up well for a short book. I did felt that the alpha MC was much more developed in his thoughts in comparison to the omega MC, but that could be due to the POV. They had chemistry during the sex, however the ending felt a bit one-sided, which I understand since that the author mentioned they will write a longer sequel, I'm very interested in it.
