This was excellently done and I’m surprised at what all the author was able to cover in this relatively quick read. This feels like and old school gothic horror/ghost story, but there’s a “new” element to it as well that I can’t quite put my finger one.
I love this story and I love the main character’s “voice”. I find it absolutely heartbreaking that Olivia finally finds a place she belongs and it’s in such a way that she instantly also loses so much.
The only thing that I would want more from this story would be more about the mother, father, and cousin. That’s not really a complaint though, because it’s not like the book is really lacking here, but because it’s all so good and I just want to know MORE
