Finished it. Loved it. Immediately started reading it again. More review to come once I can be at least sort of coherent about it all.

ETA: 10 Things delivers everything I hope for in an Alexis Hall book—hilarity and reality and humanity all rolled into one package; a delightful cacophony of flesh-and-blood supporting characters; and *feelings* where you’d least expect them, tucked in amongst the witty banter and wry commentary.

Sam and Jonathan are disasters, and I adore them. If their story were a Hallmark Christmas movie, I’d joyfully watch it every year—and I bet it’d make me happy-cry every single time.

Another ETA: My third read-through, as an audiobook this time. The book was already 5 stars when I just read it with my eyeballs, but now I’m wishing I could give even more! Will Watt’s performance was phenomenal, and every character came to life in distinct and delightful ways—from Jonathan’s chaos family, to Gollum’s weird cat noises, to Sam and Jonathan bickering over how to stuff a chicken, this was such a fun audiobook.
