When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi

emotional inspiring reflective fast-paced

5.0

What a remarkable book. Despairs the incredibly heavy themes explored in the work, When Breath Becomes Air is such a beautiful celebration of one’s life. Paul Kalanithi’s voice writing is so deeply touching, weaving the literary and scientific world together. Immediately an all time favourite of mine.

I’d also like to mention, listening to the audiobook and realising Lucy had written and narrates the epilogue was indescribable. It has such an emotional impact on the book and parallels Kalanithi’s life so devastatingly.
