"But home is meant to be a choice."
With it's excellent world building revolving around the themes of finding one's home & oneself, and life & death, Gallant takes you between dimensions as you grow fond of the main character, Olivia. I find its story to be quite similar to The Secret Garden at some points, except with a darker & more fantastical tone. Overall, Gallant was an exciting and heartfelt read.
