This is a prequel to one of my all-time favourite books (Code Name Verity) and I was not disappointed. If you like historical fiction and badass women (which you probably do) then I highly recommend reading Code Name Verity! Also The Pearl Thief, but read Code Name Verity first. You’ll appreciate The Pearl Thief more if you read Code Name Verity first. I can’t gush enough!
