A Grown-Up Guide to Dinosaurs by Ellie Sans, Clare Chadburn
informative
lighthearted
fast-paced
3.5
Very short, I think it could have been a little longer and gone into a little bit more detail but I realize it's also meant for the average adult who doesn't remember or know anything about dinosaurs; a 'Dummies Guide to' type of thing.
More of a podcast format that makes me think it isn't really meant as a 'book' in a traditional sense. They did a good job of describing things that the speakers were looking at, however, which was good since we obviously cannot see it.
I loved one of the points made that we always think of dinosaurs as going extinct but dinosaurs still out number mammals 2:1 because birds are dinosaurs!
I did know a percentage of what they were talking about but still learned a few things so that's a win to me! I do recommend this, it's a fun little interlude back into paleontology with some neat easily understood facts.
