Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo

First time reading something from Leigh Bardugo and... what a disappointment!

I had high expectations even though this was my first time reading something from this author. I did my research before getting into this one and reviews were great including that they were excited as this is far from what Leigh’s used to write.

The book is kind of chunky and I started to enjoying the reading only after page 276, everything before that was pretty boring, the jump between dates in the timeline with actually nothing exciting happening, trying to be so pompous that definitely works for fans of dark academia but I’m not a fan.

I will probably doubt before reading something again from Leigh Bardugo but I don’t want to condemn Leigh’s work just for this one book. It’s just I was really hoping to love this one so I could give a chance to Six of Crows.
