5 ⭐️. A dark night in a dark city. Following trails to your own becoming. Pain is not penance, but rather, change is the first step to redemption. An unexpected queer romance that is brimming with potential. No filler, captivating prose. The only thing I wish about this book is that it was longer, but there's also something perfect about the encapsulation of this story in a tight 160 pages.
Also, sidenote: there's a review on this book where the person talks about it like it's hard to follow and they didn't ever really understand what was going on- what an absurd thing to say about this book lol. It's very straightforward imo.
