I absolutely breezed through this book. Eriq La Salle wrote a fast-paced, gritty thriller about the NYPD/FBI's hunt for a serial killer targeting religious leaders.
This reminds me of books like S.A. Cosby's All the Sinners Bleed and Razorblade Tears and movies like Se7en.
There is a lot of story packed into 228 pages. If you like stories about detectives on the hunt for a serial killer as the body count rises, this is a book for you. The ending had my jaw on the floor. I can't wait to see where Book 2, Laws of Wrath, goes.
