Incredibly eerie book. Loved mrs Danvers as a ridiculously hateable character. Rebecca’s ominous presence is felt through the entire book, even when our main character gains self confidence Rebecca is still domineering the plot.the ending was so abrupt which I wasn’t expecting but I did enjoy, made me want to start at the beginning all over again.
