The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
5.0
RR (october 2021): omfg i am wrecked once again, how can a book be so amazing, everything about it
FTR (june 16): yeah so i don’t even know where to start. this is a type of book (at least for me) that i have to finish in one sitting. i just get so into the story and feel like i’m apart of it that no matter how much it’s breaking me, i can’t put it down. let me tell you, i sobbed reading this, and i didn’t know this was going to happen so like i’m really not okay right now.
but WOW i loved this, every second of it, really loved the format changing (i love when books do that, keeps it really interesting), and the characters and the love story and plot were just amazing. iso amazing this made my heart ache. i like how the characters were flawed because it makes this feel more real. also something about sapphic romance just makes me extra mushy
i’ve now only read 2 tjr books but i wanna say that both of those times, it didn’t feel like i was reading but instead felt like something i was apart of, i cant even explain it but it just feels like a memory instead of a story and that just means the writing is spectacular
walked into this with high expectations and didn’t come out disappointed. now i need a hug
