SEALs of Honor: Dane by Dale Mayer
3.0
This one was pretty okay. Way better than Hawk's book but not as good as Mason's. I liked the main characters well enough, but once again, I wish these people would actually get to know each other before they fall in love. I liked the premise of this one, it was nice to see the FL being useful (even if only a tiny bit). I find it a bit dodgy that in all of these they keep talking about how they wanted Tesla in the beginning. They also always do this thing where they mention that they've had a bucket load of women, but such claims are never 'proven (not sure if that's the right word). In fact, I feel like a lot of claims are made but never expanded on. For example, I'm pretty sure in the beginning of this one, an ex-fiance, or someone of that sort, was mentioned briefly but then never brought up again - It really confused me why the author would mention things that had no relevance later on in the book.
I was surprised that they didn't use the same shtick of "are you going to keep her" again in this one. I was expecting Shadow to be the one who was like "I'll have her if you don't" but that didn't occur. I would have loved a tad of jealously injected into things.
Overall, this book was pretty alright. I had a good enough time with it.
