Review: “Rather” by Grey Huffington
I usually hate love triangles in books, but Grey Huffington’s writing is so magnificent that she managed to change my perspective. “Rather” is one of her best stories, and I was hooked from the start.
Priest Valentine, the oldest of the Valentine family, is a single father raising a son with autism. He is in charge of the family business and has no time or trust for love. However, he meets Rather under a pseudonym, and they share an unforgettable two-day encounter that changes both of their lives forever.
After two years, Priest reconnects with Rather, but being with her isn’t easy. It threatens his relationships, his position, and his empire. The next 90 days they spend together are the spiciest, most intense, and heartfelt days filled with passion and challenges.
Priest is a strong, passionate, and loyal character, protective and deeply lovable. Rather is fierce, stunning, and self-assured. Grey Huffington makes you feel the potent emotions between these characters, making their story impossible to deny. This was truly one of Grey’s best stories, and I couldn’t put it down.
