I was privileged with an ARC of this book by the fabulous Elle Brooks and I've got to say, you better have the tissues handy for this one. It's sweet, tender, loving, scary, and heartbreaking. I bawled my eyes out ... no lie. This book touched deep inside of me and is still with me weeks later.

I took time away from the book before I wrote a review because I wasn't sure what to say without giving things away. The entire Promises series is fantastic and it's one I'm constantly recommending to anyone who will listen. Elle Brooks has an amazing gift. She can write a story that becomes so vivid and true that we can see and feel it. If you haven't read anything by Elle, you NEED to. But be prepared for the feels... there'll be LOTS of them!
