As Happy as Here by Jane Godwin
5.0
This is one of my new favourite books, it was so good! Please read it!
This book is about Evie who has an accident and gets put in a hospital ward with 2 other girls, Lucy and Jemma. Then, they witness a crime in a park below their window, and it goes from there.
I loved this book so much, it wanted me to keep reading, the plot was simple but great, the ending wasn't predictable like half of these types of books, and there is a bit of character development which I love to see. I read Falling from Grace not that long ago (also by Jane Godwin), and even though Falling from Grace is a lot older, this book was 20x better. Also, Jemma is super annoying at the start of the book. But she gets less annoying. When I finished reading this book, I kind of regret thinking she was 'annoying', you'll see why I thought that if you read the book ;)
If you like contemporary stories with heartwarming scenes, try out this book. You won't be disappointed!
