Please excuse me while I go curl up & cry for a little while after finishing this one.
On another note, I loved the numerous ties this book made back to the Chamber of Secrets, possibly my favorite book up until this point. The Half-Blood Prince quickly became a new favorite in the series & held many cozy, vivid reading sessions as I made my way through the book. I found myself deeply immersed in the story & growing very fond of the characters. A very emotional read at times.
Overall, this was a beautiful book in so many ways.
