Reading this felt like reading the author’s diary - or my own diary, of some version of myself that I know could exist in some alternate reality where some things happened to me in a slightly different way, pushing me deeper and further into obsession and self-hatred and so many other familiar things. This was a slightly uncomfortable, intense and scary read, scary because of a sudden and surprising recognition of what the protagonist was feeling and struggling with. I really enjoyed it!!!!
Graphic: Alcoholism, Rape, and Sexual assault
Moderate: Eating disorder and Self harm
