Dirty Love by Bethany Winters
5.0
Make sure to note the author's TWs if there are any issues that concern you.
Kade & Nicky’s unique and endearing and yes at times, toxic. “My love for you isn’t sweet Nicky…” “It’s toxic” Yes, it is and I love it!
The book starts off with a tragedy and you get to see even at a young age how codependent these two are. Their relationship develops from step brothers raised as brothers from the age of 3 with an abusive father, who love each other and are trying to hide who they are from not only him but other people in their homophobic town.
Kade is extremely possessive of Nicky, which I'm obsessed with. Nicky, well he’s a sassy little brat that I adore. The way Nicky craved to submit and please Kade while being bratty was cute. The chemistry between these two is off the charts.
I adore this book and it's one of my top 3 favorites. It's a go to re-read for me whenever I'm in a slump or when I need to revisit them again. As always Bethany Winters writes her stories with good character development and her storytelling sucks you in.
