Naruto, Vol. 42: The Secret of the Mangekyo by Masashi Kishimoto

4.0

So, quite a bit happening here.
The first few chapters
end the Jiraiya-Pain conflict, and while I knew what was coming it still hurt. I particularly loved chapter 382, and the whole Jiraiya-Minato-Naruto thing. Aslo, Naruto was obviously the child from the prophecy
.
Then we have
a bit of Naruto and the others with Tobi/Madara, and then the focus is on Sasuke and Itachi
. Those scenes were really good, especially the whole
Uchiha backstory.

Volume 35 is still my favourite from the Shippūden arc, but I enjoyed this one quite a lot.
