Cast Aside by Cassidy Langue

3.5

Cast Aside is a grumpy/sunshine, enemies to lovers medical romance that pits a gruff surgeon against her headstrong surgical nurse. There are sparks between the two and they butt heads constantly, but there's also respect, and with support from their respective best friends (also employees at the hospital where they work), they attempt to work together to resolve their issues.

The story starts out spicy and gets a wee bit kinky later on (nothing too crazy). I found the plot interesting, although a bit choppy, and I liked the back stories. The characters were likeable, but also came off as immature which was a bit meh for me, and I found the immediate flirting by Renna to be a bit unbelievable. That said, the quality of the writing overall was good and it was a quick read, I enjoyed it overall and definitely don't regret the read.

I received a free ARC from BookSirens, but my review is unbiased and left voluntarily.
