One of the best memoirs I've read, I originally felt it was too much all over the press and never bothered to pick it up. I'm glad I finally did. Cheryl's story felt raw, honest, and earnest. She put her ugly bits up for us to view as she reviewed them herself, so we could understand why she put herself through the challenge that she did. I now understand why so many people were talking about Wild when it first came out.
