The Third Day, The Frost by John Marsden
5.0
The end of this book was horribly great. This series is fantastic but the horrible part is this... WHY OH WHY DOES ROBYN HAVE TO DIE AT THE END OF THIS BOOK WHY CAN'T SOMEONE JUST STAY ALIVE AND HAVE A HAPPY ENDING. But no this is not a happy ending. Nor is it a happy book. Quite traumatic and reading any book just can not prepare you for this experience. However, yet again the third book in the series was great with more action packed events then in the previous books. This book was probably my favourite one so far but also kind of my least favourite at the same time. I liked it because there was many different amazing events. And then with the explosions and finding Kevin and him escaping. These were some great things but then again, there was Ellie who one minute loved Lee and then the next she didn't. I never quite know what to expect in this series. I can figure out that some events would have to happen at some point in the series but I can never pick when. I found this book funny in some ways and had a laugh over quite a few parts of this book. One thing I find funny out of this whole series is that only Ellie ever drives and no one else does. It seems that no one can either except for maybe one person. I love how when the group (Lee, Kevin, Homer, Fi, Robyn and Ellie) where caught that firstly they were caught, like how did that happen but when they all arrived at the prison and were interrogated, no one believed that they did all these destructive things and explosions. Overall, great read and highly recommend.
