I will admit, I have never read or seen any of the movie versions of Carrie which The Weight of Blood is based off of. So with that being said, I absolutely LOVED this book. I love Tiffany D. Jackson’s writing style and I think her horror and thriller books are top tier. Honestly all of her work is amazing as she is a favorite and an automatic buy author for me. I read The Weight of Blood in three days and could not and did not want to put it down. I loved the news articles and podcast sections that intertwined with the story and the third act of the book is so insane I could not look away.
