Lost Legends: 30 Years 30 Voices by Pamela Campbell-Morris, Freedom Tariq Zampaladus, Cheddi Gore, Pawlet Brookes, Florence Nyahwa, Carol Leeming, Dorothy Francis, George Cole, Elvy Morton

4.0

Important, vital, Black British voices in Leicester, talking about the need (or lack thereof) of Black History Month. The general consensus is that Black History should be learnt through the year, in the academic syllabus, remembered, respected and lived every day. As Elvy Morton says, Black History is World History, because humanity comes from Blackness and our every move has been made in relation to Blackness. Only four points because: 1. It needs to be longer, or a sequel needs to be on the pipeline. 2. These Legends are not Lost at all: there is still time for us to find them.
