It feels so silly to write how incredible this novel is as if I’ve just discovered something previously unknown. What I can say is that while I enjoyed reading the abridged version in school, reading this now as an adult has impacted me in such a serious way that I’m not sure I even know all the repercussions yet. Another thing I’ll say is that Dickens is hilarious.
