I'll Be There for You: The One about Friends by Kelsey Miller
informative
fast-paced
4.0
Thirsty for more after watching Friends: The Reunion a few weeks ago I immediately ordered 'I'll be there for you: The one about Friends' from Booktopia. I would have loved to listen to this as an audio book, however after reading the first chapter I was more than fine reading the words in print.
I soaked in every little morsel that this book had to offer (with a pinch of salt of course knowing that it was written from an external source). From the conception, to the casting, the filming, plot writing, salary negotiations, guest stars and some of the not-so-great stuff about a 90s sitcom. I learnt a lot and absolutely flew through it.
It was informative, easy to read and relatable. 'Friends' is exactly like a warm blanket to me and this book articulated just why it is for so many people over and over again. If you are a fan with a desire to learn just a little bit more about the 'Friends' story (some of it is mentioned in the latest reunion special) put this on your TBR and bump it up!
