This book was really good, it reminded me a lot of Junie B. Jones so it gave me a lot of nostalgia from my childhood but in my opinion, this was way better. This book made me laugh out loud a lot, and thinking about those scenes still makes me laugh.
I really wanted to give it 5 stars, but I don’t know anything about baseball so all the scenes of the book where baseball is involved went completely over my head except for the parts where the characters are clearly happy or sad over the game. I also wish the book was longer but for the age demographic it’s intended for, I completely understand why that’s not the case.
So on a more analytical level, I’d say it’d be an easy five star read for the intended audience (especially since the intended audience is supposed to understand baseball unlike me 🤣)
