One of my favorite books of all time. I have read this book three times and I will continue to reread this over and over again. Centers on themes of parental neglect, found family, and codependency that borders on obsession. I am such a reader who needs characters to be so developed and so real that they jump off the page, and this book had that in spades. Character-driven books ftw.
