3.75! This was good! Kate Quinn never steers me wrong and this is my first of Janie Chang but their writing went so well together. This was also a very interesting part of history that I didn’t know much about and was a nice break from the typical war setting that a lot of historical novels have. I didn’t connect to the characters as much as I have in other Kate Quinn novels, but there was a nice found family aspect.
Listened on audio it was really well done!
