Hell. Fucking. Yes. This was just what I needed. Imagine reading this in autumn, while the rain bashes against your windows? Utter bliss.
The creepy, gloomy, and weird atmosphere works perfectly fine in Summer too though. 10/10 would recommend to any horror/classic lit fanatic or simply anyone wanting to read a classic in a more contemporary writing style? The original story, The Fall of the House of Usher, has been kept in its original state but almost simplified, or rather written in a more contemporary way, yet still retaining its classical voice. If that makes sense.
