Hogfather by Terry Pratchett

I love Terry Pratchett so much. I’ve wanted to read Hogfather for a long time, and it didn’t disappoint. Given that Nightmare Before Christmas (the movie) came out three years before this book was published, I wonder how much the movie was the inspiration for the book. There are definite parallels, even if Pratchett puts his own Discworld-ian spin on it. This was exactly what I expected from a Discworld Christmas book, and it delivered in all the best ways.
