This book kept me up turning pages. There was a twist at the end, I did figure it out, but I didn’t even mind. Evie Porter has a job to do and that job is Ryan Sumner. She is to provide information on him to her shady and mysterious boss. She’s been scamming her whole life, but with Ryan she can’t stop and wonder what a real life with him could be. Her boss, however, has other plans that are not just about Ryan but Evie too. Is it a test or is she in danger?
For me this book was less thriller and more like a version of Oceans 11. In the end seeing how it all tied together was what made this book so entertaining.
