What is a girl to do with no job or means to support an new infant? Amanda decides to do what she does well and puts her breasts to work, literally. Amanda is pregnant when the love of her life leaves her at the altar. A few months later with a baby to feed and rent to pay she is running out of options and her savings. What she does have in abundance is breast milk. Amanda becomes a special type of nanny, one that in days of old was given the name wet nurse. Is this the type of career that Amanda really wants? Will she find love again? Definitely pick up this book and find out.
At first I was thinking this was just going to be a fluffy chick lit book. I found myself not only enjoying it, but I did not want to put it down. Reading about breast feeding strange babies actually kept me up at night and not from a creepiness factor. It actually ends up seeming quite normal, I think. The characters are wonderful and you can't help but fall in love with Amanda and her determination. I look forward to more books by Lisa Doyle and thank you to her publishers for allowing me to read this in exchange for my honest review
