"He's still just a dreamer caught in a world with too much violence."
Holy. Moly. Almighty.
This book is an epic conclusion that ties up all plotlines and answers all questions perfectly...
But boy, did it wreck me.
From the beginning, Elend and Vin were my favourite characters and it makes sense they'd die and that they'd die the way they did but... It was heartbreaking nonetheless. They will remain as some of my favourite characters for a long, long time. I haven't cried that much (over an hour before I could calm down) for fantasy in .... possibly forever.
This series was, as far as I can tell, a masterpiece.
