Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus

2.0

This is one of those moments where I felt like I read a different book than everyone else. Perhaps because I am the daughter of a woman who was in a male-dominated workplace in the 1960’s and I grew up with her trauma and stories of how she was treated in the office, that this story rings very hollow. The main character is also really difficult to like or connect with.
