This book was fantastic. I haven't had a new fantasy book hold my attention in a while, but this one absolutely delivered. The world-building was unique, and I liked the different classifications of fae. They were different from other books, and seeing how this concept was executed so well felt refreshing. I found the writing engaging, and I was hooked from the beginning. Female friendships and powerful women were central to this story, which was so fantastic. What would happen to Kenna was a bit predictable, but how it happened was more of a surprise, which I enjoyed. This was dark, evocative, and hard to put down. I can't wait to see what will come from the next installments in this series! Overall, so glad i read this one because it was so incredible.
