My 2nd book finished in 2023.
This book was such a bore for me. It started off very slow and dull through letters - nothing engaging whatsoever. And then we got boring babble about Victor's backstory, and then absolutely no information on the interesting part - the actual creation of his monster!!
It just frustrated me so much. How possibly could the monster learn to speak through watching people talk and gesticulating? And then he spoke in exactly the same way as all the other characters - characters that clearly had a good education from childhood. It's just so unbelievable.
Ehh, it just sums up that most classics are really not that good.
Lets play a game - take a shot every time a character says "vile wretch". You'll be dead with alcohol poisoning very quickly!
