This was quite an emotional read, with some small creepy vibes at times. Fern moves into Lunar, in the hope of a fresh start, and is immediately sucked into the ghosts and trauma still bound there. As new friendships develop, the story of Lunar's past is slowly revealed. It's was a very interesting take on how grief affects everyone differently and the journey it takes to reach the point in letting go of your own guilt. I couldn't help but warm to all of the characters, especially Dylan, and I really admired Fern's effort to understand and reconnect everyone.
However, whilst it was a very enjoyable read, a small issue i had was the "Fifteen Years Earlier" chapters at the end. When I saw this included, i expected a twist, but it was just confirming the events that had already been told, so I didn't really see the point of it.
