This book, from beginning to end, was filled with so much palpable tension and yearning. You could feel how much the two main love interests felt connected to one another but didn't know how to express it. The other love story here is the friendship between the two women, and how sometimes your best friend is the thing you need most when you least expect it. I appreciated the friendship being complex and full of love between the two women throughout the story.

The setting feels real, both in Prince Edward Island and when we're in certain places in Toronto. The writing is descriptive, but not too over the top.

All in all, this is such a good time for romance readers.
